In this paper we describe our efforts moving towards automatized testing in Android application development. With sophisticated combination of Android development tools and Perl scripts, we have au- tomatized parts of the testing produce. Using the built system, unit tests are built and run automatically each time when a new build is created. In addition, we are automatizing user interface testing using Android uiautomator tool. In this automatization process we encountered sev- eral technical issues, for which Android development tools do not offer ready-made solutions, and we had to implement solutions for those.
